Victor Dover
Victor Dover, founding principal at Dover, Kohl & Partners Town Planning, has been part of the movement to reform urbanism since 1987. He is co-author of the book Street Design: The Secret to Great Cities and Towns. Dover has led the designs of walkable, sustainable development at multiple scales. Dover, Kohl & Partners devised the plan for the neighborhood of Glenwood Park in Atlanta, Georgia, a citywide code rewrite for Kingston, New York, and regional plans including Plan El Paso, hailed as “America’s Best Smart Growth Plan.” Dover was recognized with the John Nolen Medal for Contributions to Urbanism (2010), the Seaside Prize (2024) and the ICAA Florida Addison Mizner Medal for Service (2025).
Victor is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Miami School of Architecture.
