By joining The Urban Guild or registering for any of our events or programs, you agree to the following terms:

Membership & Event Participation

  • Membership benefits, durations, and renewal terms are outlined on our website and may be updated periodically.

  • Event participation is subject to availability and may be limited based on capacity or eligibility.

  • We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances.

Code of Conduct
All members and participants are expected to engage respectfully and professionally. Discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from events or termination of membership without refund.

Payments & Refunds

  • All payments are due at the time of registration or membership activation unless otherwise specified.

  • Refunds, where applicable, are governed by our Refund Policy, available below.

  • Chargebacks initiated without contacting us first may result in suspension of services or membership.

Use of Information
By submitting your information, you consent to our use of it in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available below. You may update your preferences or request removal from communications at any time.

Intellectual Property
All Guild materials, presentations, and content are the property of The Urban Guild or our partners and may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission.

Modifications
The Urban Guild reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Refund Policy.

Membership Dues
All membership dues are non-refundable, except in the case of duplicate transactions or billing errors. Memberships are active for the full duration of the selected term and are not prorated for early cancellation.

Event Registrations
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to admin@urbanguild.org no later than 7 days prior to the event. Refunds requested before this deadline will be issued minus a 10% administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 7 days of the event or for no-shows. In some cases, event registration may be transferred to another individual upon request.

Workshops & Special Programs
Separate refund policies may apply to multi-day programs or ticketed special events. These will be clearly stated in the event registration details.

Chargebacks: A chargeback is a transaction reversal initiated by a customer through their credit card or bank instead of directly through The Urban Guild. Chargebacks can be damaging to the Guild. Please contact admin@urbanguild.org to facilitate a refund request instead of initiating a chargeback through your financial institution.

Privacy Policy.

The Urban Guild is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our members, event participants, and visitors.

Information We Collect
We collect personal information such as your name, email address, mailing address, organization, and payment details when you:

  • Join or renew membership

  • Register for events

  • Complete surveys or forms

  • Subscribe to our communications

How We Use Your Information

  • Process membership applications and renewals

Member Directory and Public Listings
If you are a member, your name and workplace affiliation may be included to public visitors in The Urban Guild’s member directory. All contact information, to include but not limited to address, email, and phone number is accessible only to other members. You may opt out of all directory listings by updating your member profile or contacting us directly.

Data Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your data, including the use of secure systems and encryption where applicable. However, no online system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Your Rights and Choices
You may update your contact information, communication preferences, or opt out of non-essential communications at any time through your member profile or by contacting us.
