As principle of REMINGTON ARCHITECTURE, a traditional design firm located on the outskirts of Chicago, Greg Richard has been in the architecture and the design-build construction business since 1989.  

The firm’s work ranges from traditional residential architecture, custom houses, country houses, lake homes, historic private clubs and other historic restorations.  We are especially fond of designing New-Old Houses, a term coined by Russell Versaci in his book, Creating the New Old House. For many of our clients, a new-old house not only recalls the gracious homes of the past but also allows them to enjoy all of today’s modern conveniences and contemporary spatial relationships.

Whether the project is large or small, we hold our clients in high regard. We are responsive and pay very close attention to the details.  

While we primarily work on projects in the Midwest, we are NCARB certified to provide services in most any jurisdiction. 

Mr. Richard holds both a bachelors and master’s degree from the University of Illinois. His most notable works have been published in various periodicals throughout the firm’s thirty years of service.
