Aniju Varughese has over two decades of experience spanning real estate development, construction, and engineering. She started her career as a structural engineer and façade consultant working on building and infrastructure projects. Post-MBA, Aniju managed developments across the entire development lifecycle- from acquisitions and due diligence to management of design and construction, leasing, and sales. In 2025, she founded AVA Community Investment Group in Central Florida to focus on downtown infill and revitalization projects.

At the heart of her approach is a commitment to building community through walkable streetscapes, adaptive reuse, historic preservation, placemaking, and supporting small local businesses. Aniju is interested in solving the problems at the intersection of engineering, design, and financial feasibility.
