Aaron Cook

Crabtree Group, Inc.

Aaron is often found working on hydrology analysis, street and road sections, charrette infrastructure support, and other tasks to help make many wonderful places.

Working at Crabtree Group, Inc., Aaron has the privilege of learning from Paul Crabtree in contexts from rural to urban.  Aaron has always had deep curiosity for systems and how things work, and wants his work to support all the great things that happen with healthy places by helping the infrastructure do its job and either ‘get out of the way’ of a great place, or highlight it to make it a feature of the place. He has worked on many charrettes supporting multidisciplinary teams and lead other projects from entitlement to construction. His interests also extend to the interplay of land use and transportation, with experience in the railroad industry prior to his current work.

With bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Civil Engineering, licensure in multiple states, and as the product of (at least) four generations of educators, Aaron enjoys sharing lessons learned with other engineers, encouraging them to make great places in their own work.
